Record a treatment
Log a medication, vaccine or dewormer given to a flock.
- Open Treatments from the menu.
- Tap the + button.
- Tap the search icon to pick the flock. Its age fills in for you.
- Fill in the rest of the form and tap Save.
The fields

| Treatment type | For example Vaccination, Deworming or Immune Booster. |
| Start date and End date | When the treatment runs. |
| Prescription and Diagnosis | Optional notes from your vet. |
| Status | Pending, In progress, Completed or Cancelled. |
| Cost | What the treatment cost. |
| Include in expense | Tick this to add the cost to your expenses as well. You need to enter a cost first. |
| Withdrawal period (days) | How many days before meat or eggs from the flock can be sold. |
| Notes | Anything else worth noting. |
Get a reminder
PoultryTap can remind you before a treatment is due. Give the treatment a Start date in the future and set Status to Pending. The form confirms the day the reminder will be sent.

Withdrawal period
When a treatment has a withdrawal period, its details show the date the flock is Safe to sell from. If you record a sale for that flock before then, PoultryTap warns you.
Update a treatment
When you give a pending treatment, tap Edit in its actions menu (three dots) and change Status to Completed.
