Write your own treatment templates

Set up the vaccination schedules your farms follow, and reuse them on every flock.

A template is a reusable list of doses. PoultryTap comes with Built in templates. On plans that include custom templates, owners can also write their own.

Open My Business from the menu, then Treatment templates.

Write a template

  1. Tap New template, or tap Duplicate on an existing template to start from a copy.
  2. Enter a Template name and choose the Flock type it is for.
  3. Under Doses, tap Add dose for each vaccine or treatment. For each dose, enter:
    • the Day: the bird's age in days, from 1 to 1000
    • the medication name
    • the treatment type
    • any notes
  4. Tap Save.

A template needs at least one dose. Your templates show under Your templates, marked Custom.

Edit or delete a template

Built in templates cannot be changed, but you can duplicate them. Your own templates can be edited or deleted. Deleting a template does not remove treatments you already added to a flock from it.

Locked templates

If your plan no longer includes custom templates, the templates you wrote are kept and marked Locked. You can still see them, but you cannot apply them to a flock until you upgrade. Nothing is lost. See Plans.
